I was shocked that they bent given the size of the pothole and the low speed he was moving.

That being said... based on others experience, I don't think the quality is up to par for Advans.

Many people love them (even him just like 99% of EVO guys) but now he sports some Volks and has never looked back.

That cool. I wasn't trying to give you a hard time, but was just curious. Quality wise, I think they are ok (no first had experience either), but I do think they are slightly over-priced for a fully cast wheel. In most cases a cast wheel is not going to be as strong as a solid forged wheel. But, for the same money as the Advan's you can get a fully forged 1-piece Volk (TE, CE, G2, etc.).

I tried looking for volks in the 25-2600 price range and could not find any. I looked for te's ce's and all sorts but they were all over 3.

I want to buy from an acutal online store that i can use a credit card and not pay pal.

Can you please show me the sites where the 25-2600 dollar volks are?

(im not trying to be a d*ck ive just never seen any priced that low)

I paid $2400 for my 19" Volk GT-S's from Wheel Warehouse in CA (new). I agree though, most places quoted me around 3 grand. It seems like most 1-piece forged Volk's are around $3500. At the same time, Advan's are in that range for a lot of their wheels. It sounds like you got a pretty good deal, so it's all good. I personally like Advan's. My only complaint is that they are cast (not always a bad thing), and expensive (most nice wheels are). Please don't take my comments that I don't like them.... I think they will look great on your black G.

Yup, my old Volk GT-Cs are tough as hell and served me really well. I always think twice about selling them.

Shouldn't they be called Caststars?

Advans are quality wheels despite being cast. Obviously they won't be as 'strong' as forged but they seem to hold up really well for the EVO guys. I've heard more horror stories about Iforged and Sevas (both forged wheels) cracking than I have about Advans.

Nice wheels, but damn Infiniti should sue Hyundai. That Genesis coupe looks way too much like a G37.
