Tire Rack please help, Winter Tires G37S sedan

I'm looking to buy winter tires for my G37S sedan. Originally I was going to buy the Blizzak's LM-60 but I've read about some owners already complaining about a squishy feeling in the dry.

Anyway I'm very interested in the Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 in a size of 245-45-18 all around. I also like the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D but they would have to be in a size of 235-50-18.

From playing around with the Tire Calculator it looks like the 245-45-18's would be a better fit and closer to stock recommended size of 225-50-18's compared to the 235-50-18's.

Tire Rack in theses particular tires for a G37S Sedan which one do you recommend, which size and why??? I'm concerned with rubbing issues.

Anyone else please feel free to chime in.

Thanks.

Yeah, I would pass on the 235's as they are a bit of an odd size for the car. The 245's will fit fine and won't be much larger than what you have now. If you didn't want to try the LM60's the the only other option is to run the 245's in the Dunlop. They have been a great tire for quite some time so they have a trusted track record. I wouldn't say the B-Stone handles poorly, just a new tire on the block and hasn't been through a full season yet.

Thanks for the response Neil. I'm sure you are right about it being too early to tell with the LM-60's. Those Blizzaks LM-60's are a brand new model and are probably not fully broken-in yet on the cars of those people who have commented about a squishy loose handling feeling.

I'm going to wait another couple of weeks and see if there is any more new feedback on the LM-60's. As of today on the Tirerack website only one person has commented on the LM60's and he wasn't thrill with the dry performance either. But I've also read other comment on the net using a Google search. If the reviews don't change much I'm going to go with the Dunlop M3's.

Thanks Again.
