It really comes down to personal preference. This is really a split decision. I know a lot of people who think stretched tires are ugly and a lot of people who like the look. The fact that there is a 5 page discussion is completely irrelevant. I can find a multi page thread of a discussion of people who hate stretched tires. It's going to come down to personal preference at the end of the day.

I think a very very minor stretch looks good. Meat is always good. I am running a 285 tire on my 10.5, it has a super minor stretch.

Man, I am SO ready (have the money), but the wife is pregnant now and I need a winter/dailly driver more than I need a Twin-Turbo.

Maybe, I'll consider a conservative 10" wide wheel to make the 275 not have a stretched look to it. I'm not a fan of the stretched look.

LMFAO, was thinking more like fall or winter, unless I sold my GT30's now.

Hey P, maybe we can test fit one of your rear wheels on my front end.
I'd test fit mine but I don't think the front fender would like the 305's, LOL.

They will definitely be 3-piece(*) custom built wheels with offsets determinted by me and confirmed with the company.

*This way if there was a fitment issue, at least I could send them back and adjust fitment with either smaller/larger outter/inner barrel.

Jeff,

1) Ain't gonna happen because the physical dimensions will not allow it.
2) Are you sure that's what you would want to do on this car anyway? Do you know what that will look like? I think it will be as attractive as putting some 24's on the car. There is a point of diminishing returns when it comes to width or diameter of wheels, both performance wise and aesthetically. 12" wide is past the point of gains and into the area of loss IMO.

If you find a way to somehow make this work, I really want to see how it looks.

I'd b down for a ride to chi-town too. Then I'd have to make sure and put the cf grill on first. I think it arrived. Wife called and said ups dropped something off today. Puppy actually barked at him, I'm so proud, lol.
