Tire Replacement For Staggered Wheels

Hey you guys. Newbie here. So it is time to replace the 4 tires on my G37s wheels. I am thinking to purchase 245 for all 4 wheels. I understand the wheels are staggered. This should be ok, right? Any handling or performance issue that i should be concerned about?

TireRack has some 245 Kumho Platinum for a really good price. Plus, i am thinking if i have same size tires, i can rotate them.

Appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

doesnt quite work liek that the 245 is the width like how wide the tires is, and ur front rims are 225.. which is pretty huge difference , sorry for staggered wheels rotating front to back usually isnt an option

People put 245 tires on front rims alot. The problem is the rim, not the tire width. They have a different width and offset. You'd have to see if the rim would fit if rotated.

I'm sure someone's already tried . . . heck there's probably a thread about it, but that would require a search

You can't physically rotate the front wheels with the rear wheels...the hub won't let you (should be a little metal bolt sticking out of the hub). If you get non-directional tires, you can do side to side, but that's it.

thanks you guys. I meant to say rotate the tires only; not the wheels. In other words, physically take the tires off the wheels and rotate tire only(since tires are all 245). However, being able or not able to rotate tires is not that big of a deals. I just wanna know if there is anything i should be concerned about, as far as how the car will handle, if i were to put same size tires on corners of staggered wheels. Any negative effect this setup will have on performance? The width of teh G37S are 8.5" front and 9" rear, so I think it is ok, but i wanted to know if there is any negative effects that i should consider. Thanks!
