wall size issue?
Got these in oem sizes but dealer screwed up and got me 225/45 and 245/35. Is it bad when wall sizes are that far apart from front and back? I noticed no one here goes beyond a 5 point difference between front and back. Is it just looks or can the car be affected? Thanks

Kind of kicking myself now for not buying these...went for the all season option (Michelin Pilot Super Sports) because of the occasional icy conditions we have around DC. Putting them on tomorrow.
Just out of curiosity, anyone know if summer tires are a definite no-go for a car driven daily around DC / Maryland? No major snow storms usually and occasional icy storms. Maybe should have just said screw it and gotten the hankook v12 summer tires... opinions?
Thanks All!

I noticed this floating feeling too. And I got less than 15,000 highway miles out of rear set, stock 19" 245 mm S Coupe size. My '08 S Coupe had RSA's on it with maybe 50% tread wear when I bought it. I don't like the RSA but it's a better tire than the Hankook. Still have the damn RSA's on front. They all look the same now. Pay attention friends - this is 90% highway driving!!! Maybe I'm nuts, maybe this car has way more tire ripping torque than the small block chevy's I used to drive? Nah. Not. And before I get flamed let me say you could only pry me out of this thing for a Vette now. God how I LOVE this car!!! But in my current opinion these tires are for garage queens .

I'm hoping that the +size will at worst be a wash with the harder tread compound for cornering /performance. After 200 mi I'm happy with noise and ride, and am experiencing much less crowning than I expected out of these fatty's and yes they really look like they are the correct size for the stock 19" rims.
Damn blnewt, 295's on the butt? Spacers? Hows the oversteer?

No spacers, +40 front, +45 rear offsets for my sedan, rears sit flush. Not much difference in oversteer, so stable and planted now, and launches very well. Went on a 600 mile road trip for Xmas and only lost about a 1/2 mile per gallon from my 245/35/20s (old wheels were almost the same weight).

Anybody got pics of the larger rear size on their cars.. (275-35-19).
Hard to believe this size fits on the OEM wheels...
I just had the Toyo Proxes 4 Plus 225-45-19 on the front.
They seem to be a little noisy at highway speeds..
Kinda regretting my purchase after reading this thread..
I also believe the culprit to my noisy Toyos are the chicken strips which are located on the tires from the edge to the center of the treads..
Hopefully when they wear off the buzzing should go away.. anyone experience this??

If you can find the fat tire thread , there are actually people running 285/35-19 in the rear complete with pics ( Post #7 https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...n-oem-19s.html ). I'm actually pulling the trigger tomorrow on two 285 35 19 Ventus.
