yes. that would be larger than the stock diameter. stocks are 225/45 and 245/40. therefore you don't want anything larger than 245/40.

and even still, 245/40 looks way too beefy on a 19" aftermarket rim (if you have some). I'd do 245/35 and 275/30 if you can manage that.

^+1 I'd love to hear about the wear and life of these. I've heard some horror stories recently about them wearing out in 2-3K miles and will need new tires when my iForged come in

No way any tire would wear that quickly in normal, daily driving conditions. Technically you can wear a tire out and not even move. They have a decently high treadwear of 280 and are supposedly very quiet on the road. I went ahead and ordered two for my m3 (275/35/19) $207 can't beat that.

that's what I'm trying to figure out...the specs on the car are totally in spec so we can't figure out why it's happening...

I'm buying them from a local shop I've bought 10-15 tires from so they are giving me that price. Doesn't pay to buy them online, shipping makes up for the cost of retail markup you would be paying anyways. I will be getting two for the front in another month or two. Was going with Conti DW but couldn't get them or 760 Sports, these seem like a better tire/value.. for now. I put INVOs on my G37, they didn't hold up too well.

most of the time I'd agree about online, but discounttiredirect has some great prices, at least as good if not better than what I could get locally

I got mine at Discout TIre. Installed + lugs + valve kit (incl. removing tpms from stock wheels) + free balance and road hazard for life of tire @ a little over $900. THey were going to do it for about 1g but I showed them the discounttires direct price and they dropped a $100 off to match.

These tires are "ok". Not as sticky as my last tires (NT05) but no road noise at all. FOr the price, I dont think they can be beat.

I've had these tires on 20" iForged wheels since June (7k miles) and they're wearing great. Car has been lowered on Tanabe coils since then (JICs recently) and still holding up fine. Maybe crazy camber/toe eats these up but what do you expect?

Reading the OP's review, didn't his wall flex come from the widened tires? It would be the opposite of stretching tires, which eliminates tire wall flex.

Just got a set of these from City Tires. They are such a HUGE upgrade in terms of road noise and practicality when used for daily driving. My RE050's were pretty worn down so my cabin noise has noticeably decreased. I haven't burned off the tread coating yet, but I tried making a couple fast lane changes and I could feel a little more lag from the tail end than I used to with the RE050's (even when they were worn down). A small sacrifice for the added ride quality and hopefully extended tread longevity.

Just replaced my oem tires with these after 35K miles on originals. Love these tires so far and am very happy. I picked them up for $850 out the door with everything.
