Tires?

Tires?
I would like feedback on future tire selection. The original front tires lasted just 17,000 miles and now the rears are close to the end of their life. I am looking for improved tread wear as well as a quiet ride. Any feedback is welcomed.

How did you manage to wear our your front tires faster than the rears on a RWD vehicle?
The OEM Bridgestones are good performance tires but tread wear is horrible, they are 140. Yokohama S Drives give similar level of performance, less noise, and have a tread wear rating of 300.

Same thing happened to me - negative camber in the front. When I replace these tires, I'm getting the SPC front camber kit put on (wasn't available yet when I put my Eibachs on).

I thought I posted in this thread but it didn't show up...... so my question is, we can run 275 rear and 245 front on 19" OEM wheels with no issues?
I hate that our stock Bridgestones have such little life in them. I'd like to check out the S-drives once it's time for new tires.

Well I think it will fit the rims but it will be balloned out (if that's a word). As for the tires clearance no issues - no rubs on those 19s! I couldn't find the width for the stock sport rims. So this is best answered by a forum user that has done so.
Anyone with stock Sport rims with wider tires chime in?

I put 245/40/19's all around on stock Sport Rims...there is no balooning...and it is completely unnoticeable....AND that lets you rotate them!
I went with RE760 Bridgestones...check out thread by same name where Neal from Tire Rack chimes in as well...also a report from me at 5K on the new tires
