275/30/20 (f) & 305/25/20 (r) on GT30's?

I currently have Toyo Proxes T1-R 245/35/20 (f) & 275/30/20 (r) even though I wanted 255/30 & 285/30. I was thinking about buying the 255 & 285's and selling my current tires but didn't want to take a hit on two day old tires. So, I was thinking of just getting the 305/25/20's and putting them on the rears, putting the 275/30/20's from the rears onto the fronts, and selling the 245/35/20's. Will this fit? I know a 9.5" wide wheel will perfectly accept a 275 but will in rub? I did a search but couldn't find anyone using 275's for the fronts. I definitely gotta do 305's now that I have seen a few people doing it. Or, at least 285's in the rear because it's a bit wider but still perfect overall diameter. What do you guys thing? Pics too please.

...And don't worry, I will definitely be getting a drop soon.

I think it will rub. I ask about that set up for my wheels and they said is too big. Zele's 370z runs 275 and 285.

With enough camber... I believe it should clear. It also depends on how low your car is.

Jeezus! 275 in the front. No problem with the 9.5" GT30's but I think it'll rub.

I have 255/35 and 285/30, and on Eibachs, the rears rub and it's getting annoying. Only if I have the time and patience to trim the lining.

OK, so I ordered new tires, LOL. I ordered 255/30 & 305/25 Pirelli PZero Nero's. They should be in by Wednesday or Thursday. The 245/35 & 275/30 Toyo T1-R's will be for sale once I get the new tires mounted up. They'll have about 2 days of use.

Offsets are 35mm front and 37mm rear, I believe. Or, vice versa. I don't have the new tires yet and I haven't trimmed anything yet. I ordered the KWv3's yesterday and the rear camber kit. Hopefully, after that stuff is on I will have no rubbing, with 305's.

Would someone w/ GT30's mount a 275/30 on the front 9.5 up front for test fit to see if it clears... So, I don't have to, LOL.

Somebody has modding fever and tire ADD. Stop and add up everything you've spent modding your car since you bought it; you might be amazed. I'm at a shop right now looking at a JDM engine swap on a Supra and some other FI projects they've done. I have promised myself to do all the more minor kits first before dropping that kind of coin.

If I were single, I'd be broke and homeless but I'd have the baddest G37 on the planet!

FWIW, I have almost identically sized wheels and I think 275 is too wide in front, but what the hell do I know? It would probably look good with 305 rears. I'll be sticking with 255/285 when I change tires next.

Try talking to discount tire. If worst comes to worst you'd be running mad camber in the front to make them fit. I don't think its worth it imo.

I think we can easily get even larger than a 10.5/305 in the rear with the right offsets. Next set of wheels is gonna be at least 11.5 rears with at least a 325, seriously.

Quick Reply: Help 275/30/20 (f) & 305/25/20 (r) on GT30's?
