Is the rubbing due to the increase in tire width or due to lowering?

So I pulled the trigger on them, 245/40 & 275/35. To those who can't read my signature I'm still on stock wheels, dropped on Eibachs with 20mm spacers.

They fit fine. When I'm angling on speed bumps no rubbing issues however, (here's the sad part) My rear tires rub against the fendor when I drive over dips. I'm really concerned about rubbing on corners due to body roll. And no, coilovers aren't coming anytime soon. Maybe strut & aftermarket swaybars would help.

Anyone tried fendor rolling?

I'll post pix once when I get her cleaned. It rained right after the tires install.
hey bro u should do 265 in the back thats what i went with now with my new oem pc wheels too!

Has anyone had problems with these tire sizes with stock wheels and suspension and no spacers? I'm considering going plus zero when I get new tires, but not if they're going to rub.

you should be fine with stock suspension. when you lower it, then you will have more trouble with spacers.

I just put on the toyo T1R 245/40 up front and 275/35 in rear on stock 19 wheels. Looks great, rides much better and NO rubbing issues at all.

NT555 are a bulky tire. Check if you need to trim the metal tab that merges the bumper and the panel.

Well I'm still rubbing lol Haven't had the time to trim the lining. When I'm alone I'm ok but when my 300 lb friend rides with me I start rubbing on dips and when I take turns a little fast haha
