Vossen 084 tire recommendations?

Hi,

What would be the best tire size for Vossen 084 rims? Also cheapest bang for buck brand?

A local store suggested this

general UHP exclaim ultra high performance summer tires

front 245/35/20
rear 275/30/20

Thanks!!!

Those are good sizes. I'll be using Toyo T1Rs on mine.

I am running Yokohama S.Drives 255/35/20 and 285/30/20. IMO its the perfect size for the wheels, I had Falken 275's on the rear wheel, and they looked pretty stretched.

I don't have Vossens but 285/30 is perfect for a 10.5" wheel.
I have 255/35 for 9.5" in the front. 245 is ok for a 9"
They are Yoko. S.Drives

No rubing issues what so ever, but I am on Tanabe Springs in the rear, and Eibach springs in the front...I am sure you still wont have issues if you are lower, just because the tires would tuck in more IMO...

I just got 245/35 - 275/30 rear for my new to be 20s. I'm on Eibachs too from what I know this won't be an issue. But I don't know about H&Rs - that's a major drop.

After installing the eibach's when you go to align, tell whoever's aligning not to reduce the camber but to play with the toe to keep the negative camber which will reduce chances of rubbing.. even if, i think it'll rub with your fendor liner not the fendor itself, just take it off..

hm.. okay... but will having the negative camber cause excessive tire wear?

Also what are the cons of rubbing.. what could it potentially damage?

not if balanced with the right toe

if you're rubbing against the lining its ok.. it does sound painful though lol.. if you're rubbing agaisnt your fendor.. then you need to act

As for tires I havn't treid them out yet but Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta from what I see is geting great reviews thats why I purchased them. Soon as I get my rims and drive on them for a week I'll post a review.

You can get them for around $650.00 - $750.00 for all 4.
