sorry but this is wrong. there is no stand treadware rating between companies. each company rates them different so you really cant compare.

personally i was going with the s.drives because they were a little cheaper. however, they were on back order so i picked up the invos. im hoping i can get 15k miles out of my rears otherwise ill try the s.drives.

yes I know that there is no standard rating between tire manufacturers. I was merely stating what he requested on his post, he requested info on treadwear between the two models. As for experience, since I had both tires on our evo, I invo's had more grip, and the s drives we had lasted longer. They are both great tires regardless.

sorry for jumping on you lou. appreciate the info. like i said, i might switch to the s.drives depending when my invo's wear out.

Lou, which did you prefer for "quietness"? I hate a noisy tire and this would be more important (to me) than treadwear.

i know this isn't directed at me, and i have not ridden on s.drives yet, but i know that the Invos are MUCH quiter than my Falkens.

also, i thought the s.drives treadwear was listed at 280, not 300. my falkens are 300, which shows in the hardness of the rubber.

the invo's makes less road noise. I like the hankook ventus evo tires better than the S drives or invo's.
