09 Sedan H&R springs?

I see that H&R has springs for the 09 but can't seem to find them available anywhere. Do the 08 springs fit the 09? I don't know why they wouldn't. Anyone care to shed some light on this? Also where's the best place to buy them?

The 09 platform is the same as the 07+. Eibach and H&R seem to be the most popular with Eibach taking a slight edge on the sedan.

Well with a slightly bigger engine wouldnt the 09 springs be a little different especially up front? And terry what do you mean by eibach taking a slight edge on the sedan?

The engine is technically the same size. If anything, the VHR motor may even be lighter than the HR motor because it was either bored, stroked or both to get the additional displacement. In any case the weight difference is minimal if you consider how much a full tank of gas weighs vs. an empty tank.

Sorry, by slight edge, I meant that there seems to be slightly more sedan owners with Eibach springs than H&R springs because the H&R spings lower the car more. The H&R springs were actually a carry over from previous years because the catalog numbers are the same.

Andy at HP Autoworks said that the springs would be out by the end of February. I have been looking everywhere for the 09 springs and have found that they have been still in R & D? Strange how long it has been though. I'm dying to drop this thing. Pics will be here the day it's dropped.

Eibach in May

I called Stillen yesterday to get the Eibach pro-kit for the 07+ sedan to use on my 09, they said there is a new part # coming out for the 09 sedan.....in May. Guess I will have stock springs for the track.

I live very close to Eibach and called them last week and found out that they have finished the R & D for the 09 sedan springs. Call Andy @ HP Autoworks. They should be available next week some time according to Eibach. The specs are different than previous versions by just a little. They have a slight rake forward now, which is good.

I had the Eibach pro's for my last car and hated how the rebound and preload got all outta whack with stock struts and then the bone crucshing effect of the Bilstien Hds i had. Love the ride of the 37SS ( a little on the plush side) on 19"s but wouldnt mind if it were lower? Opinions?

I will be installing the 08 Eibachs on my 09 this weekend. I will let everyone know how it turns out. I am also installing the rear camber arms, and a my Volk GTS wheels. I should have everything done by early next week....

So I talked to Eddie today at TH, and he said the 09' Eibach pro-kit isn't due out until the end of the month. I suspect it got thrown up on the websites a little early..at least that's what Stillen did and they suckered me in. Interested to hear how the install goes with the 08 springs!
