Tire Chains/Cables

I know I'm gonna get killed for this one but here goes...
It only snows like 3 days a year here and I'm not buying separate rims/tires for those 3 days. I figured I would just get a ride to work on those days.
But, in case i cant I wanted to know if anyone has used (or if they even make) tire chains/cables for our tires? I could have sworn I saw a porsche with some sort of tire cables on the tires last winter.
Has anyone ever used them? If so, do you have any recommendations? I have the G37S and the tires dont have much of a sidewall. I dont want these cables scratching my rims.
Thanks!

Dont do it bro. If they break when you are driving they will cause all sorts of damage to your wheel well. If it's only 3 days just stay home or work from home if you can. Schedule a service appointment and get a loaner

If anything you'd want cables, but with the minimal fender gap, your going to start flapping cables into the fender wheels. Seriously a RWD G is not the car for snowy conditions. I slip in heavy rain sometimes, Ice would be too much for me in the G. Now the Suburban in snow, that thing just keeps on truckin'!

damnit! I figured you guys would say that. Wish I could work from home but I can't.
I'm going to look into getting cables and keeping them in the trunk for an emergency. If I wake up and there's snow on the ground I can just find another way to work. The thing that I'm worried about is being at work while snowstorm passes through. That would suck.

AAA, call and say my car won't start. Have them tow you home, and you'll get to meet the nice tow truck drivers.

I ask for a flat bed whenever I call. I think they have a note on their computer for me that I always request a flat bed, not that I've been towed a lot, but last time they asked if I was requesting a flat bed like usual?

I know, I'm just taking another cheap shot at tow truck drivers.
