I just got some Blizzak WS 60's on my 09 RWD Journey. Now I only had the car for a little while so I did not get an alignment done and the car never seemed out of alignment as it was. With the winter tires on my car now it feels like it's all over the road meaning it drifts from one side of the lane to the other and I have to constantly be steering the car on a straightaway. With OEM tires on it the car drove straight with little effort. Any idea what be might causing the drifting? Is it just because they are winter tires and not performance? They were supposed to be balanced when put on as well, I don't know if being out of balance would cause this! Any thoughts or insight into this would be appreciated, thanks!

It might be the wheels arent balanced right but also know snow tires sidewalls are not as stiff as the sport tires. Also they are much softer so they grip in the cold

Point being, it may just be the characteristic of the tire. My car had lm-60's for a bit but it did not drift to either side so I would check the balance of the tires.

It's very possible that the 'normal' winter tires are causing your drifting problem. I have a 2009 G37 RWD sedan Journey and put Michelin Primacy Alpins on it (225/55R17 H rated) mounted on American Racing Casino alloy rims and the car handles great. No wandering or drifting. The A/R rims are quite a bit lighter (weight-wise) compared to the stock rims which certainly would make the vehicle handle a little better. I'm thinking that the S rated snow tires may be causing your problem.

The WS-60 are directional I believe. I know my LM-25s are.
Make sure they are mounted on the car going the right direction.
If they are not, it might explain your "drifting" around a bit.

They are directional tires and they are mounted correctly. Also it seemed to ride better today so maybe I needed to get used to the tire since they have only been on for a week! Maybe it was just in my head!!
