Falken 452's or yokohama s-drives?

Has anyone had any experience with these tires? I have seen alot of pics around here with the Falkens but not the yoko's. These are the two tires I am deciding to go with for my new wheels. Any input would be great. Right now I am leaning towards the yoko's because of online reviews make them sound stickier.

i do not have any experienced with any kind of tires except kumho spt.

kumho tires are very cheap for what it is. after like 6 months of owning it, it still has a lot of thread on them. 700 shipped is a good deal.

Kumho is a good tire for the money. I had them on my G35 (stock wheels) before selling it. I enjoyed them.

I have the S-Drives on my G now and I really like them. I have never has the 452's mainly because I've read a lot of mixed reviews for them when I considered them for my Maxima.

+1... My S.drives are great... Good wet/dry traction and stick really well when you push them... Great price for the amount of performance you get IMO...

Falkens have had lots of mixed opinions... A buddy of mine had some 452's on his S14 and they ended up shredding apart on him after 2,000 miles of wear... Others have said they a have a tendency to "feather" for no apparent reason... While on the other hand, a few people I know are running 452's and say they're a good tire... So yeah... Mixed reviews...

But I haven't heard one person complain about the Yoko S.drives though...

EDIT: Just re read your first post... If you're lookin for "super stickiness" get the Advan Sports... They're just a smidge stickier than the S.drives... I got S.drives mainly because I'm not plannin on drivin too too crazy with my present wheels on, but will be getting the Advans for my 19" Advan Racing RS's when I get'em for the track days

How about Nitto NT555's, same price range as those two. Very good to me so far.

I'm waiting for my S drives for my front wheels at the moment.

Haven't heard any complaints from the N555's either... I personally haven't had any experience with them but have heard people say they were good tires... Can't say the same for the Invos... My buddy was expecting more out of them... But he did say they got better after time though...

Been very happy with the S.Drives on my G35 on 20's.. Came from BFGoodrich KDW2's.. same grip, half the price, wear seems phenomenally better so far..

I have the S drives, good tire for the money, I dont like Falkens too much, from prior experiences, they are slippery in the rain, have accelerated edge wear, wears unevenly on the edges too, becomes choppy. and the Falkens sit thinner on the wheels too. I drive like a nut on the Yoko S drives, even at 30degrees weather, they seem to stick pretty good for Summer tires. Only minor complaint that I have is Flat spot on them after the car sits for a week but at the sametime, I had worst flat spots on my old General Uhp when I had my Audi A6. Again, Great tire for the money.

ive only used t1-r's and i was happy with them. wouldnt mind a bit more stickiness but dont want to sacrifice tire wear.

as for the yokos and falkens, ive heard good things about both. they perform well but their best strength is price.

id like to try nitto invo's next but worried about treadware.

My friend has the 452s... he installed it this spring and now he has 50% tread left. They may be good, but they seem to wear down hella fast.
