anyone here know any reputable HRE rims?
i might pull the trigger on some and wanted ur opinions

I've heard problems with HRE's falling apart during autocross.

solo's are nice
but not my style

I've heard problems with HRE's falling apart during autocross

nice wheels, just not worth what they want for them
hope you get a partial sponsorship or something on them

even then, good luck getting them for 3k.

HRE's are nice looking wheels. I little pricey IMO and also typically not very light weight either.

Hre are nice but over rated. They are not good for performance wheels. they are all show no go. the C series was suppose to be improved strength wise but have not heard anyone running them as many track day companies have banned them due to them breaking.

+1... My buddy had some C90's 0n his Porsche... Was driving on the street, went over a small pothole and cracked both driver's side rims... He was pretty pissed... He spent about $6K on them only to have them break on him within 5 months... Don't spend the $$ IMO...

wow surprised the C series broke that easy. that is their forged race line which is suppose to be the strongest. but once again proves what i have said from the beginning. over priced and over rated for the quality you are getting

They've got a high rep. with the euro crowd. They pretty expensive though.
