Mine are great so far. not light by any means but im not a racer. My style is different than most and hopefully won't be copied. HRE does back their wheels and like anything out there, things can break. However they do back their wheels.

Reason HRE's are banned on tracks is due to the fact that most have chrome lips. Any wheel that is plated with anything that can hide defects in the metal are banned on tracks. I think they got a bad rep b/c of rumors but that is me.

Good luck on the 3-4K range without tires.

HRE's are great and I can put you in contact with someone their directly if you would like. They may refer you out to a vendor but i know a few guys their.

If you like something buy it b/c you like it.

If u want something nice i say go with some Auto Coutures or Iforges cant go wrong there

I dont know about Auto Coutures but IForged is around 3-4k range, HRE's are almost double that. No way for 3k, but nice wheels though.

Good luck trying to get HRE's for about $3K. Your looking at about near $5K minimum.

wasnt someone selling a 50% off coupon for a couple hundred bucks? maybe thats how or some sponserships

there was a 50% off DPE coupon on driver.. not sure if it ever sold
