I gave up and am just switching them over. To the poster that said I can fit this in my car--hell there is no way. 4 unmounted 20" wheels and tires will hardly fit safely in my Bravada (an Oldsmobile Blazer)--IMPOSSIBLE in the G coupe. I've put a lot of stuff in my G, but nothing this big.

In the sedan, I had 1 in the front seat, two in the back seats, and 1 in the trunk. I know the trunk in the coupe is not as deep, but what about pulling out the spare and trunk floor? Will that give you the room in the trunk?

tireracks specifically say "Cannot be used as a replacement for Original Equipment sensors "

So I guess if you wanna save money you can buy the TireRack ones and still have the ( ! ) on in your car... but doesnt that defeat the purpose????

unless I missed something...

I cannot look up the type right now as I am over seas at work but they were about $20 EACH AND all i had to do was take the car to the dealer to reset them. It was free of charge from the dealer even though i did not buy the wheels tires or get them put on there.

I bought them with my winter tire set up at "THE TIRE WHEARHOUSE" in Edmonton Alberta. I just when in told them what car i had and that i wanted the cheepest rims that would fit over our front brakes. And 2500 later tires rims and sensors.

I bought an extra set for $100 shipped. I have not put them in yet because I think I need adapters. Although the tech at Lokey told me today that he can take the stem off and still mount the sensor. So I will probably go that route.

Hmm... wonder if the tire rack ones are able to work with the ECU?

Shumby, Can you get a brand of TPMS you got from them?
If this works with the factory system... it should be posted and stickied so people know that they can save money instead of spending 300+

Guys, my GT30's came with some little bolts that are there in case you don't want to use TPMS. I'm shocked that no one else posted that here...

+1....just use that to plug the extra hole.
Or, as mentioned, just stick another valve stem in the hole. Problem solved.

+1. same worked in my coupe, but instead of putting the two on the rear seats, i dropped the seats and put them on top, flat.

aside. aren't we able to reset the ecu to clear the code for faulty or missing tpms?

You can have them put standard rubber stem back into you stock wheels/tires.
+1.
