Scratched Rims on Curb. What to do???? :(

Last night I was parking at friends apartment and accidentally scratched my wheels on the curb. It doesnt look cool. Was there a Plan or anything that fully covers a brand new one or repair? I just got the car about 2 weeks ago. Or is there some sort of time limit when Infiniti Dealerships will cover damages to new cars?

lol, no. the dealership will not cover that kind of damage whether it was 2 weeks ago or 2 minutes after you left the dealership. i was offered a rim protection/paint protection plan from them for about $600 that would cover that damage which I declined. you can get it fixed for less than $100 by a rim repair place.

I was told the Rim Protection Package didn't cover curbing... just things like a bent wheel due to hitting a pothole or something like that.

What kind of shops you think? Can discount tire do it? and what is the process?

No... Discount Tire or other tire places do not do this. You need someone that specializes in it. Many people go through the dealership to see who they recommend, but if you can tell us where you are located, someone here may know someone in your area.

Just a quick search, here's a few that you may consider:

^^yea, I was told specifically that the rim protection package covered curb rashes. i considered it for a second, but realized i don't curb my rims enough to justify the $600 cost.

Yeah... That's odd. My dealer specifically told me that it didn't. Not surprised. Dealers so so inconsistent.

I noticed my rear-passenger side wheel with huge curb rash while I was cleaning it 3 days after taking delivery. I can swear it wasn't me. I was too excited to notice it when I picked it up. So I showed it to my dealer and he wasn't too happy with it. He brought me to the service department and told the dude there to "put it under warranty". Then the dude said that they don't have any replacement wheels available and they would call me when they come in.
I'll believe it when its actually replaced. *crosses fingers.
