^ Look at the tread ... if it has a definite 'arrow' shape to them ... most likely they are directional. Make sure to have the 'arrow' pointed forwards (ie front of the car). That way, the channels flow the water from the middle of the tread outwards.

A more likely sign of directional tires is on the sidewall, there is the word "rotation" stamped with an arrow to tell you which way the tires turn.

Hope that helps.

Sport- The tires are only marked "OUTSIDE" ans the tread has no real rhyme or reason to it. I would think if it mattered they would be stamped but who knows!

Yes, the OE Bridgestones are directional. Directional tires may have an arrow showing the direction of forward rotation or be marked to show the outside sidewall which have it mounted facing the right direction.

Quick question about that. I had heard that any radial tire is directional. After it has been used, the wires in the carcass get use to one direction. And if you reverse the direction of usage it will lead to premature tire wear. And that is why you only rotate the tires front and back and not side to side.

Can anyone confirm or deny?

First of all, the rims/tires in the sport package are staggered and since they're directional that means NO tire rotations. Not even cross rotating. So once a tire is worn thats it, buy a new one.

^^Exactly. This should be real easy. The bigger ones go on the rear with the arrow going forward.

OK Maybe I am not explaining myself clearly. Front and rear are obvious. However, There are no arrows! So how do I know if the left front is going back on the left front? It could go on the right front and still say outside..... I am not rotating the tires for wear, just putting my summer tires back on after winter. Maybe someone has a picture of a wheel/tire where the tread pattern is visable?

no arrows. they are marked inside / outside, that's all.

but.. if you actually look at the tread you would think it would be a directional tire, and that you had two of the same side. i don't know whats up with these tires

put them on either side, shouldn't matter
