How hard is it to keep two piece rims clean and polished v. the one piece forgeds? I love those SF Winnings but I scrape just to find the time to wash my car once a week much less take wheels apart to polish the lip...???

hey sharif...this is my first staggered car... and when i think of new rims... I think, is it a bad idea to put wide rims on the front? maybe have the same size rim and tire all around ...letting you rotate?
give me your thoughts if ya have a second...
thanks

Personally, I have not seen that with the cars we have tracked. They all seem to be inclinded to power induced oversteer....even the NA cars.

I wasn't sure if the lip gets dull if you'd need to powerball it or something...I was thinking you might not be able to do that since part is painted and part is polished? (Like the polish might wear off the paint?)

The lip is polished, and then clear coated. So it retains it's shine very nicely. Abrasives will damage the finish. I use car soap and water, then dry with micro fiber cloth. If I am feeling really aggresive, I will hit the lips with some Zano. Good quality car waxes, and detail sprays are fine on the wheels too!

so running 35 front and rear has no issue? I thought on our cars we had to run 35 front and 30 rear for vdc to not crap out but i guess not. Thanks Sharif, might give you guys a call soon for some springs and camber/toe rear kit.
