well i carefully looked at the wheels and the spokes just arch to miss the calipers and the 43mm offset will have wheels very limited right now. im working w/ donz wheelz one of my sponsors to haev something come out quick for the 2008 wheel line up.
Just received delivery of my G37 sport yesterday. I noticed that the wheels all have a small blue dot - like a drop of paint or something? Is that normal and if so, why do the wheels have it there? Here is a pic with a red circle around the spot.

if repeatability == normal then count it as such. i have them also.
Kenny ... Cerritos Infiniti in Southern CA has several G37S on their lot with TSW wheels with 245 tires in front and 275 tires in back. They clear the stock BBK.

Interesting... thanks for the comment. Anyone else have these?
I remember seeing that lil' blue dot on a G37 on the showroom floor.
I'm sure it does not need to be left on. It's just a little sticker right?
Is it positioned near the valvestem on the other wheels also?
Regards,
I had the blue dot on my qx4 too and now on my G. I think it has something to do with when they were balanced. This is what the sales person told me though so it could be completely wrong. Not sure how to get it off with out scratching the surface though.

If I remember correctly, the blue dot marks the heaviest point on the wheel, it's matched up to the lighest point on the tire, which is marked with a red dot.
I might have this backwards, but that's the general idea.
exactly, it denotes the heavy/light points (actual definition varies with wheel/tire mfr) and assists alignment... i'd leave it on, or marked somehow.
You are right about the heavy light spots for ballancing.. However I have worked for Michelin for 5 years and my old man for 33 years manufacturing the tires and actually ran the "CID" this is the machine that measures the wheel balance side wall protrutions and conicity. In the majority of cases only OEM tires get the "red dot" (color veries per car company) after market tires for the most part do not get this mark.
Therefor leaving the blue dot on your rim is up to you but I always wash it off.
