What I was told, you can get your own leasing company or lease through any of their companies.
If you go outside of IFS, the company will usually have a lower residual for the car, and their "tolerence" on car damage is much tighter and less forgiving if you have nicks and scratches etc
Also, in order to use some outside company, you have to give IFS a lease 1 time payment which includes a mf of .0020 regardless of if you want or not(since car is always financed thru IFS technically). So by using your own leasing company, you will have a compounded MF rate.
That is the way it was explained 2 me from 2 dealerships. Hope it helps.
Would you mind sending me the calculations for that? I used the lease calculator online which apparently gave me incorrect values. If I see the way you calculated it I'll be able to find where the error was BTW, what is OTD? Out the door?

Yeah I'm doing the same. With the VPP, do you include the $715 charge for destination? Or is that taken into account with the 2.5% fee?

Sounds like a good deal. I see you are in new York, can you recommend the dealer.

Ok here is my calcuation. Let me know if this looks right. This is based off of MSRP and Invoice values from edmunds.com for a G37 Sport Prem Spoiler. When I go to 36 months the payment is actually worse because the residual drops so much.

Your numbers are right, except residual is only 75% for 12K miles over 24 months..... It was misquoted as bieng 76% on this website....

He's correct, I called and verified this, 75% residual. Lease Compare made a mistake

So far MSRP calculations, include the 715 destination charge, and also include it in the invoice price as well. Obviously removing the 715 dest. charge from the invoice side and not the MSRP would reduce monthly payments significantly in a 24month lease. Does the 2.5% shipping/handling fee not replace the 715 destination charge?

Someone clarify.... MSRP include 715? Invoice Include 715?
