The Red Vert with Megan Racing axle back exhaust

So I took some vids yesterday evening and at night.
As they get processed I'll post them here.
I'll add a cold start also. I think my nieghbors should be up and awake now.

The extra noise is the cell phone interferance as a call was about to come in. This is normal driving 40-45 Mph. Also I had the music on. Other clips will have it off except the last one from last night.

<object width="640" height="385">

<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8VTkmsFHXzI&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></object>

Vid 2 (apologies for the music interruption)
This was cruising on to an exit off the highway from 60 to 0. No loud noise while coasting.
<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/z_sCzaMOnfo&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/z_sCzaMOnfo&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Vid 3 Slight reving from idle. The clanking is the resonators on the passenger side floor.(top down windows up)

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/iNwVIIk_eAM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/iNwVIIk_eAM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Vid 4. Going from one traffic light to the next. Normal driving.

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_1QGTeHCp1Y&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/_1QGTeHCp1Y&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Vid 5 0 to 80 (top down, windows up)
<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7kGe9qIuw24&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7kGe9qIuw24&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Vid 6 , windows are down, so a bit more wind noise but that's expected.
<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/epEYPM_ZOjQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/epEYPM_ZOjQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Vid 7, windows down, apologies in advance for the wind noise, the highlight is at 1:29, 1:30 and starting off. But no droning while cruising in the 50s or so.

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/9U8GjgSf8cM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9U8GjgSf8cM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

Vid 8. So the exhaust sound in the backgound with music.

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RCdz8vvWx0s&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RCdz8vvWx0s&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

I love reggae music but if the point of the video is to hear the exhaust, why do you have music on

Good point. The vids that will have music is for those who drive with music on along with listening out for the exhaust. So there is really just one of those, except for this one where I did not have it cut off I get fidgety without music while driving. No more music except a slip up in the 2nd vid 3-4 seconds and the last vid.

Thanks. There is some slight drone with the 7AT when at low speed and in gear 6 or 7. But a little flappy paddle action takes care of that. It'll hardly be an issue for me as I'll have the music on. Going up in the gears is just nice though.

I'm starting to think to improve the cabin noise you need an intake. I still remember the love I had with my 350Z when I put the intake on. Most of the cabin noise from the engine is intake created.

Recheck your install. It sounds like it's hitting something. I had a Greddy exhaust that was installed wrong and it was hitting something and making vibrations.

Thanks for the tip. It's on there pretty good from the install but I'll double check. With DS mode on, no drony sound as at relatively low speeds, 40-50mph I'm still in 4th which leads me to believe its that 7AT lag in 6th, 7th.
