my family owns a small business and personally our customers satisfaction comes first. if they dont like the product, we will redo it even if it cost us thousands. now that just coming from experience. its cheaper to have it done the right way the first time and be finished. thats all i have to say.

wtf is a cost deal? and if a cost deal includes getting messed up rims like that, ill make a mental note to opt out of any 'cost deals' in the future. lmfao. the way you worded "why do you think you got a cost deal??" makes it sound like you already knew he was gonna get ***-ed up rims LOL way to save yourself.
oh by the way, wasn't it always 'the customer is always right' in the industry?

Mturo, I completely agree, and I know that it was done right. FS even told Blaine to contact the finisher that was HIGHLY reputable, in chroming and finishing in CA that they took it too. It didnt work out, and he was offered polished lips to be done with it, the right way from the get go. I even offered when he first bought the wheels, actually I pushed consistently to do polished, b/c I have seen chrome from everyone in the industry lately and its always a problem. Blaine refused, and still got the cost deal, and now instead of saying, "Please fix it, and fix it right with polished lips to avoid anymore issue" he goes on forums. I have dealt with lots of warranties and policies, and the manufacturer always states, THEY must fix it, not an outside party.

Customers always come first, reality is they are the ones who bring you the business. You can never be perfect, but I know for a fact 99% of my customers are super happy with their wheels. If their were issues, they were taken care of, but you really cannot make everyone happy.

Its ok, I never saw you as an a-hole or anything. I took care of you, and didnt even make a profit on your order. OH and guys just so everyone knows, Blaine was given a cost deal on his wheels, and received one of the first sets that they had sold. Let me just throw in that part, b/c I did handle the sale.

Their were issues, and you wanted it fixed your way, and thats not how it works in the industry. It stinks that you have issues, but you were also one of the first. Why do you think you got a cost deal?? Yes I will say it again for everyone to hear, Blaine got a cost deal on the wheels.

OH and so you know, I am not the only one who uses my name. Danny is a real person, and he uses my name to post occasionally. He gets on car threads, I dont see the big deal so no need to hide as your .
Seems like your lying right before us, if your "Chris" and made the sale. Why don't you post up the emails? or do you need the go ahead from your own self as what it sounds like your the company owner.

I see what you mean, but it was a cost deal and just really bad luck. Its not to say that he was getting messed up wheels, just a special cost to introduce him to a product thats all. The "customer is always right" is not accurate here, b/c he really is not right. He has been offered solutions to fix his issue, why do you ignore that part when reading my comments. He was offered twice, yet said no each time.

lemansz20 who are you?

Are you representing Forged Specialties? Or GetYourWheels?

Why are you speaking for either party?

Explain.

I havent been told I can do it yet, not my email to give out. Blaine was offered options to fix the wheels with polished lips twice, even before he ordered I offered it myself. I am not lying, I told you who I am and people know me in person. Blaine calls me a crook, yet the customers I have, lots have met me in person and know me to be very straight forward and helpful.

I help out everyone I can, b/c I do believe the customer must come first. I mean hell, I even gave Blaine my cell and had convos with him about car talk. I have NOTHING bad to say about him, I dont think he is an a-hole. I dont think Blaine is just one of those low tempered mean people. Hes actually a pretty straight guy, and was NEVER left to dry. I mean he would text me sometimes at 1:30am, and I always answered him. I do believe this is a pretty low class act of him, but frankly he is pissed off.

He has an issue, and wants it fixed. Just needs to understand that things need to be done and policies honored. What is the harm in him getting polished lips, and the wheels being resealed. He was offered this and he said no, just makes no sense to me.

I would have just told him to return the rims and you would give him a refund. Then take the rims have everything done to them to have the working properly and sell them used and take the loss so I could be on with my life.

Well most policies that I have seen, their are no returns or refunds in the 3 piece world. I mean when you order a completely custom offset and size, its not going to appeal to everyone. Thats why their are warranties to fix issues if they come up, and he is just one of the unlucky ones to see a problem.

Lets be real here though, hes not a bad guy and is mad. Would I go to a forum, probably not, but I would make the company fix my wheels, just how it should be, rightfully so. My opinion stands, and he shouldve let them fix the wheels with polished lips. Chrome lips stink anyways, but then again I hate chrome so I guess thats more of an opinion.

If one of the first runs of these wheels were that bad, he should be getting a refund. If a company can't stand behind their product, they shouldn't be trusted with our money.

why do you keep on try to impose upon him the polish lips?
he's the customer and if he's paying for it, he should get what he wants. if you can't stand behind your chroming capabilities then tell him you cant do it instead of trying to do it...

But why are they not standing behind their product, I dont understand what your not reading. They have offered consistently to fix his problem, yet he says no??? Guys please, I am not asking you to jump on a companies side, I am asking to just read the reality. THey have offered to fix his issue, with a much smarter and better solution, polished lips.

In no way have they said, get lost Blaine, deal with it yourself. No on the contrary, they have offered to fix the issue and let him get on with enjoying his car and mods. I mean the offer was on the table and consistently pushed from what I read. Their was never once where he was told, go fly a kite. He was told the options on how to fix it, and he denied them. I would say that is standing behind your product, trying to make the issue right, or no??? I really see it on his side, anger and frustrated, just handled wrong.

Like I said, customers should always come first, and should never be left to dry. They should be taken care of, to enjoy their purchase, its the right thing to do.

I am the one saying polished lips,b/c I have seen first hand the best companies have issues with chrome 2 weeks in. Its not like he paid extra for anything, so thats why I say avoid the further issue. Chrome is a headache, ANY wheel company will tell you that. It does not withstand weather, nor any kind of temperature change. Polished at least is stronger and can be polished up and cleaned if it goes dull. Most dont understand this, so its good to be educated about it at times.
