Forged Specialties (BEWARE)
#287
I just want to publicly thank Blaine and everyone else who has chosen not to be quiet about their issues with this guy and "his" products. Thanks to the information provided by you, I have been able to avoid being in Blaine's shoes and am filing a chargeback for my deposit.
There's too much to write about what I was told by this sociopath to try to change my mind. A very hard working liar indeed. Too bad there's no formal job/paygrade for that (well, maybe politics).

Sorry to hear that, NBS.
Would it be possible to have a "Buyer Beware" sticky, where vendors such as Forged Specialties can be listed? A section where forum members can quickly see who they can safely do business with and who they need to be wary with or avoid altogether. I searched for "buyer beware" and tried to find an existing section for bad vendors, but didn't find one. Sorry if I missed it. I'm glad I read this and will not be going with Forged Specialties for wheels.

Wow....I just read all 291 posts plus all the extra other related links that were posted. I want to keep this thread alive and bumping because once these instances become forgotten, this company will revive itself under another name and do this all over again to anther person that's worked hard for what they have.
And i just have to put this in there...Dude is f*cked up!

I know this thread is very, very old. However, has anyone ever heard what the final outcome of this actually was, including the testing of the wheels by the agency? NBS, if you're still out there, what was the final outcome?
I just read all 20 pages (including the extra links from 370z & genesis forums)....all because I found a set of Forged Specialities wheels for sale online. Never heard of them, so I decided to do some searching around. So very glad I found this thread!!! Extremely disappointing to hear that business is conducted in this fashion. I guess you can take rats out of the gutter, but can't take the gutter out of the rats...
Thanks,
- DM
