Whats up with 180custom?
Hi All,
So-sent my tails to 180 to be done in gtr style.they arrived on 5/10.got email on 5/11 stating would need a couple days to complete.i responded if they were done by sat 5/14 i would pick them up and if not done till next week they could ship out.no response so i sent email on 5/18 asking how they were doing and if they would be done by weekend.no response so sent another email on 5/19 and was told they were trying for sat 5/21 but it was on the painter-would let me know.heard nothing so sent message to igor on g35nyc today 5/26 in am.as of this post have no response.i can understand they are probably busy but how do you go from a turn around time of a couple days to almost 3 weeks.if i was told 3 weeks right off the bat i would have said ok talk to you then.anyone have this experiance with them.at this point i am wondering if i will ever see them.thoughts,comments?

yea I bought a grill from them and they would not respond to my PMs. they said it would ship out whenever money is received but when cash was in their hands, seem like they just put me on the bottom of the to do list. they said they were crazy busy but if you're that busy and running a business, hire more workers.

Hey Lee, sorry for this whole delay. You told me originally that these were your spare tails as you had bought the JDM set, so I knew you weren't in a rush. You sent me just the outer tails and I had to use my spare reverse lights to get the work done for you. I didn't have the reverse lights the first week as they were being used and then my painter was really busy the following week. We just had the done yesterday and they are being buffed out tonight. I can ship them to you tomorrow or you can schedule an appointment to come up so I can install them for you. Sorry I didn't keep you updated as much, I don't get to sit on the PC all day like before because I'm always helping Igor with other work. We are actually getting another person to help us and hopefully moving to a new location soon that will be bigger and accommodate us better. Your right, we're not as quick as we should be sometimes but we're working on improving them with the extra help.

Yeah I bought my grille from them and it took much longer than expected too.
was told about a week.
Ended up taking another week on top of that with other complications.
Their email response time is not the best. I would say takes about 24-48hrs to get back to you.
Just be patient they are reputable and have done a lot of good work for the community so they won't try to cheat you.
They should probably all get black berrys or something to improve customer communication and response time.
