Well supposedly it's not only going to be raining, but it's gonna pour like a M.F. w/ possible flood conditions. I'd be much more down to go if it wasn't on a rainy day. I'll probably go to the next meet.

 

Well I think due to the conditions, we should postpone the meet until next Sat. Jan. 12
If it was just going to be light rain then it would be worth it, but it seems like it will be hard rain like chasemyaccord said and the point of this meet is to drive and hang out. Also because some people are going to the CES show as well, and we want a big turn out for our meet. Lets get a vote and a head count for a Jan. 12 meet.

As much as I would like to finally go to a meet and hang out and chill with all of you I vote to do the meet on the 12th. It's just another week anyway.

 

I vote for next week as well. I just saw the weather report and they're expecting 5-10 inches of rain for friday night-saturday morning for the coastal areas.

 

Sounds like a good idea to change the meet for the 12th. I wont be able to make it but I hope there is a good turnout. Hopefully it goes well and there will be future meets.

 

Well lets try to set a date that would get the most turn out. Something that might work for everybody, give enough time to those who usaully have to work to ask for the day off etc. Hopefully we can find a day where it won't rain or is on the same day as a big event. There is no hurry since we've been waiting this long anyway to set something up. It would be great if we can make this work on a nice day where there would be people outside and see what we are all about. It's about representing. And also if it's a warm day then we can see girls in their small bikinis on the beach.

But yes, I think this Saturday wouldn't be that great because of the heavy rain. Postponing it sounds like a good idea. I'm going to Mammoth from the 11th-13th, so I won't be able to make the 12th. No big deal though if you guys decide to have it on the 12th. Whatever gets the most turnout.

OR, we can all go to Mammoth, the storm is going to bring in major fresh powder!

I can't make it on the 12th, I am going out of town. It seems like a few people won't make it. What about the 19th? Anyways, I haven't had my car in any rain yet and I want to keep it that way. If you know what I mean.

But maybe we should have a vote for which date.

 

Lets just check the weather in the morning. if its rining its off, if its not its on?? lets not all get scared of a little water. im down rain or shine unless its really really pouring.
