Nice, I'm glad you guys got the PDF for this. This is a very important TSB indeed. Vibration from warped rotors in just 8-12k miles is unacceptable. These new baffles they put on better extend the life of these puppies. Also, do you guys think the baffles are meant to last the life of the vehicle? For example, when my rotors naturally wear out and they replace the rotors, do you think they swap out to new baffles or just leave the ones from this TSB on there?

I am starting to feel some vibration when braking and the road noise when braking is horrible! My car only has 10,800 miles on it. I would take it in to the dealer but the closest one is an hour away and the last time I brought it in for a warranty issue (paint fading on my wheels) they gave me the run around. I wonder if my problem is under the TSB. The vibration isn't strong but the road noise is very prevalent.

Just had this done yesterday too. Instead of refinishing I think they just replaced the front rotors, but in the baffles, and did new pads all around.

I mentioned this to my dealer today. I have 25k on my car and was told that warranty on brakes is only 12k/1yr. I brought up this TSB and now they are checking into it. Anyone coming from a similar background?

I have 22K on my G and the dealer has ordered the kit for me. The first kit came in but apparentley not the right one for the BBK. They advised there was a question about being passed the 1 year warranty period but the dealer challenged Infiniti as the car is still under warranty and this is not a wear defect.

Either way, I expect to have it done within the week at no cost.

Update: It was done by the dealer at no cost - made a big difference.

excellent, are they replacing rotors or resurfacing them for you? I advised my dealer of this TSB this morning so I'm waiting to hear back. They currently have my car in their possession.
