They have to check it an run the "test" to figure out if it's defective or not !!

How's the test performed, Infiniti Esc? They are a bit vague about this "Special Tool".

I just realized today that nothing ever happens to the my airbag light regardless if anyone is sitting in the seat or not... I guess I'm affected, but I didn't get a letter.

I got this notice yesterday and my G is sleeping in the garage until spring. I'll bring it in in April. My light seems to be working fine.

...have not been notified about this.

When starting car, light is on a few seconds (think that is the check
operation), then light goes out.
However, last week I took my nephew out and the light stayed on with him in passenger seat.
I guess this means the sensor turned bag off due to his weight.
Should be OK ???

sounds like its working correctly. It says if it isnt working right the airbag light will continuously flash.

however, next time you take the car in might as well mention the recall to them and have them check it.
