M37 Plasti Dip Front Grill
I picked up the M after trading in my G sedan. This is my 4th Infiniti, 2 G coupes 1 G Sedan and now this bad boy. My coil overs are in and I just need to find a free day to drop the car off for install. I've been doing what I can on my own in the mean time I started with this mod. I'm going to plasti dip the lower grill and the fog light housing so the black's all match the matte black look of the plasti dip. I'm pretty happy with the results so far and think the car is going to look mean as hell after the drop. This was my first time using plasti dip and I am a total paint amateur, only comments, I could have done a better job with prep and I would have done my coats a bit thicker. This is 4 coats about 15-20 min between each one.

If it chips you dont have to spend the money to have if sanded and resprayed...just peel it and respray. Ive ran plasti dip of grills, everything from silverados to sedans...only chips i got were from not enough coats...but if you do like 5-6 coats, it would take a pretty nice rock to damage it..one that would have damaged real paint in the first place.
Food for thought.

Some bumper plugs will clean that front up nicely.

@nofear13 Ya I took off the over that goes over the air filters, removed the little black clips and had plenty of space to drop down some plastic between the grill's and the radiator. I used just painters tape to hold it in place and it worked just fine.
@gofightnguyen I HATE the bumper holes and have seen that website before, was hoping to find something a bit cheaper but I'll probably pull the trigger for 3 of them. So lame they drilled the front bumper like this, its just wrong! I picked the car up as a lease return just last month, everything was perfect except for that.

You guys think I should do the same to the rear? I have removed all the badges except for the logo, so I have 2 chrome pieces and the logo I could do. I don't want to over do things - thoughts? Also the door handles are chrome, I won't do anything to them so would it look weird with NO chrome except for the handles or should I keep things are they are now? Good thing with the plasti dip - I can always try it and remove if I'm not happy.
