I LOVE my M37x (touring & premium package), it is a joy to drive. I have no issues with my 7AT but there is a TSB reprogram out that people are reporting success. Not all the speakers (ones by the headrest) are on all the time. Some are reserved for 5.1 DVD only. I've never had real issues with BOSE (but I'm not a big BOSE fan, I live with it). with a little proper adjustment you can get decent sound. Don't expect booming bass.

You can get a great deal on one if you are persistant. I got the the 2012 M37x in Malbec Black, Java interior and the packages mentioned above as well as the best extended warranty and a tire/rim extended warranty ..... out the door for 52k. Audi, BMW, Mercedes can't touch that.

The 3.7 is plenty powerful enough for this type of car, beware you won't get great mileage around town. You can get high 20's almost 30 on a trip (driving style dependant).

I can't begin to express how nice it is to drive this car, trips are a pleasure.

EDIT: The base 18" wheels have a big wheel gap (my only beef with the car). You can drop if you want to go that route, I really don't. Not sure how adding either the larger OEM upgraded wheels or aftermarket might affect wheel gap.

 

Thanks 2008 G-Man. Did you get yours new? And which dealer did you go to? I will be getting the upgraded wheels with the sports pkg. And also the upgraded bose system with the sport touring pkg. And of course the premium pkg. Msrp is $61,290.

 

Yes, I got a new 2012 .... I was looking online at the dealers within a 50-60 mile range. Two had the Malbec Black with Java interior, one was posting a ridiculiuos internet price. I called them and the price was for real but they were very far away. So I called the other dealer (happen to be the closest) and asked if they would match. They danced a bit and commented that Infiniti doesn't want dealers posting internet prices but yes, they would match. I got it at JBA Infiniti in Ellicott City MD.
