How hard to replace wood accents in the M?

I love the M37 Sport but I also love the silver powdered woodgrain.

Anyone know how hard it would be to replace the wood pieces with the silver powerdered ones if I bought an M37S?

Are the pressure clipped in, hot glued in, or both?

Anyone know of someone who has actually done this?

I also like the silver powdered trim too bad they do not offer that in the S. best thing to do is go to a dealer or auto body that works with a lot of Infiniti and see if anyone has tried replacingnthentrim before. If you do find out some info please share with us

I would assume it either just unclips, or is screwed in, you rarely see glued in interior pieces, unless it with touches of foam to eliminate rattles. Your best bet is to buy the new kit, and see exactly how the pieces are mounted. Interior trim is very straight forward.

I think you have this backwards from what he wants to do.

I'm also a big fan of the Silver Ash wood...

That is, until I actually sat inside a M with it and it wasn't quite as big of a dealbreaker for me. It looks nicer in the photos.

Have to disagree there .... all other wood looks boring to me after seeing/owning the Silver Ash .... it's the main reason I went with the touring package.
