What's the pricing of the M56 like compared to the E550 and 550i in the US? I haven't looked it up. I don't think the BMW has them but I know the the E550 has back up camera and distance control, lane departure warning, and other things. It doesn't have the scented air like the M or forrest air.

It seems to be priced within the same context as the US M56S as it's a few hundred dollars more than a fully loaded MB E550 and a couple of thousand more than a fully loaded BMW 550i.
M56X is $75,690, loaded, plus tax. E550 4matic is $80,450.00, plus tax loaded.

I think Infiniti is shooting a little high. I love Infiniti but for 5K I think most people (myself included?) would get the Benz.

I was including taxes. The M56x comes out to something like $84,750 and the M56S is like $85,050 or something. The E550 also has the panorama roof and night vision

Ugh, I was looking at the MB USA site and a fully loaded E550 with 4Matic AWD is $65,000. The E63 starts at $85,000 ($105,000 in Canada).

Yeah the M56 is abit pricey.

But you can always look at the M37. Yeah it's not as powerful, but considering the starting MSRP of $46k it's pretty tempting.

Well iv been in the m56 and e550 while being driven hard, the M feels much more solid. Nicer interior than the 5 and E also. Price has to be up there with the amount and class of car you're getting.
