Me too! Swapped G35 6mt for FX45
I posted on another thread already but I traded in my '06 6MT coupe for an '06 FX45 last month. The coupe was one of the first off the truck in November of '05, and loved it to death but needed something more useful. Test drove the FX35 a bunch, and liked it, but not enough power to give up the G. Thought I'd wait another year or two and just have both. Then I drove this bad boy one fine Saturday morning and I was sold. THEN the salesman told me it was one of the last '06's and they really wanted to move it, so I ended up paying 44 and change, and it has the tech package and XM radio, so everything but the rear seat dvd. That's only 5K more than I paid for my coupe! I couldn't pass up that deal and man, I am lovin' this ride!
Its great to have the extra utility, and not give up the speed, and the handling is actually better than the coupe on the freeway! I guess its the awd, bigger tires, and maybe even the added weight but she feels very steady in high speed turns. Not as nimble around town of course, but I can live with that. The only negative is the fuel economy, but as I said on another post it ain't as bad as you'd think. I've actually gotten 22mpg on a 35 mile trek on the 101 down to Ventura, and my girlfriend gets 18-20 when she takes over on trips. Everyday driving is closer to 14.5 though. Anyway, enough talk, here's the pics! (Plus one of the G)
The color is autumn copper by the way. A bit deeper than the original liquid copper and I really like it.

Thanks for all the props. It's funny, I get nothing but compliments on the color combo yet the dealer couldn't sell it forever, hence the great deal. The only knock I got was when I picked up a couple of friends and one girl says "hey, it looks like someone cut up a bunch of basketballs and covered your seats with it." I have to admit it was pretty funny.
Its been 6 weeks and don't miss the G yet, but yeah I can see myself getting a true sports car in another 2 or 3 years. But it will have to be something in the GTR, M3, 911 class next time.
