Do you know what the offset of the G35 wheels are? Stock FX wheels are 8" wide +40 offset. Ideally around 25mm less widens the stance and allows for almost any tire size.

I have 19" Volks on order with 295/45-19 Yokohama Advans, depending on the width of the G35 wheels there are tire options just limited.

this is the info that i have for the OEM 19s:

19" 5 split spoke (2005+ Coupe optional)
Front: 19"x7.5" +30mm offset
Rear: 19"x8" +33mm offset

I know the tires are 225 in the front and 245 in the back, not sure how much wider one can go. Also I was just curious what the specs of the rims and tires of the 18" and 20" of the FX are?

thanks again

I believe your offset numbers are correct, but your widths are not. The 19s are 8" wide in front and 8.5" wide in back on the coupe.

A 275/55-19 seems to be the best fit for those 2 widths and the stock FX height. It's a 1/2 inch taller than oem but it's close without going too far taller or shorter.

8 +30 is out 10mm more than FX OEM
8.5 +33 is out 13mm more than FX OEM

A lot of FXers shoot for around 25mm more than OEM to widen the stance and not looked tucked when changing tires. The OEM Goodyears bulge a lot so to keep the same type of look tire selection can be important.

Here's the OEM offset and OEM Goodyear bulge.

Here's an offset that equals 38mm more than OEM with a 285/35 on a 9" wheel

IMO 19's are too small for the FX.

thank you guys.

I actually had the crazy idea of trading my car in and getting an FX but I test drove one on thursday and pretty much gave up on that. I test drove a brand new 06 FX35 ... and well it just seemed too slow, I know i can't expect all that much from it considering how much heavier it is than my G but I guess i had higher expectations.

Anyway i just really like the OEM 19s and always wondered how those would look on an FX and if it is possible to put them on one at all.

The FX45 is faster you should have taken that out for a spin.

I saw an ad in one of the car and drivers where they had a side shot of a Black G35 Coupe on 19's right next to a Black FX so essentially the the side of the G35 was blocking parts of the FX35...and as we all know infiniti ad's are a bit on the darker side...so when i first looked at it I thought wow they FX35's now come with G35 19's and it looked REALLY nice
