Just wondering if the CARB stickers or certificates will be sent out any time soon. I know you guys are busy with the actual shipping of the intakes, but is there an update on this?

I emailed JWT the original first 20 or so, they should have been mailed out already. The last 10 that left were already included.

On a diff JWT note....Their Clutch and Flywheel combo just came out

Most aftermarket air filters/intakes are oiled like k&n's. The ones that aren't are the foam types like HKS's and Greddy's filters.

Passenger side install was a bitch. I don't think the mounting bracket on the intake was "twisted" enough on the set I received. I had to modify it a bit. Other than that, not too hard. I find myself driving faster to be in audible range of the intake growl.

yeah absolutely and these require oil - mine didn't seem to have been pre-treated, so I hit them with K&N air filter oil that had layin around.

^ INteresting can someone confirm if that is necessary, as if these filters are not pre-oiled every one must oil them or they might damage the engine slowly with all the particles being sucked through the filters.

That's good to know; I wonder if these intakes all come without oil.

JWT's oil gives their filters their blue color. If it's blue, then it's already oiled.

I'm actually going to get an Outerwears prefilter for both of mine. this will help keep the larger particles from ever reaching the filter and keep the filter cleaner A LOT longer. I use the prefilters withe perfect results on my sand drag/dune quads and my xc race quad, all with exposed filter elements and those see the most extreme filtering environments possible.
