Tint Fix It Ticket

I searched but didn't find the info I'm looking for. I just got pulled over today for tint for the first time (10+ years of tinted driving...)

Anyway the ticket says on the back that I will need to fix it, get it signed off by a police officer, and then mail it in.

Where do I mail it in? Is it the address on the front of the ticket where the officer placed a checkbox for me to show up in court?

I don't think I actually have to go to court. Do I?

The back of the ticket also states I need to pay a transaction fee. What amount is that? I've read it's $25, but nowhere on the ticket is that amount written. Will I be getting a letter in the mail with more detailed instructions?

Take off your tint and get it signed off by CHP.... Then you just take it to the traffic court or mail it in with it and check ....if you get it taken care of its $25 or something like that... If you don't get it signed off then I think you have to pay like a 200 fee...
It's been a few years since I've gotten a tint ticket and haven't had my windows tinted since my last ticket for it .... Got tired of taking it off then paying to get it back on

Why not just get legal tint instead of worrying to take it off and back on?

You can't have tint on the driver/passenger windows in California. I usually get ~40% tint so it doesn't look too dark.

This is what I have a question on... What is the amount? Nowhere on the ticket does it say the exact amount I have to pay. But it does say I have to pay something. Do I get a letter in the mail later explaining?

I think I will put tint back on afterwards, just a lighter shade of 35%. The cop just wanted to be a d!ck. This is the first time in 10 years that I've been pulled over for tint. Half the cars in LA have tint on the front windows.

FHP, got me for 250.00....a civil infraction here in FL. Pay and move on, did not have to remove and get signed off on. This was for rear window, he stated each window gets seperate fine..
