Parking ticket for no front plate

I got a parking ticket today for no front plate . I was wondering, since the payment is mailed in or paid online, there's no need to provide proof right ?

No idea, but the fact you got a ticket blows man.

You will have to go to CHP and somehow get the front plate on there so they can sign it off. Then you mail it with your payment.

I got a fix-it ticket for tinted tail lights about 2 months ago. You have two options: 1) install the front plate, take it to any police station to get it inspected (there is usually a $14 fee and they sign the back of the ticket), then you pay the ticket either online or by mail. or 2) you don't fix it and pay the ticket plus an additional fine for not fixing the issue. I've heard the additional fine can be a couple hundred dollars. I paid a total of $39 for my ticket after I de-tinted my lights, much better than the $150-$300 I could have paid.

The ticket only says to pay online or mail in. Doesn't request me to go to a police station since it's a parking ticket. Not a police ticket you know ? So that's why I'm not sure. If I do have to put a plate, I'll just temporarily 3M tape it on

Are parking tickets same as police tickets? Cause I understand police wanting you to show up at a station and prove the plates on. But a parking ticket? Idk

The ticket doesn't have to say it. My ticket was by CHP and didn't say anything also, I just asked the cop who gave me the ticket what I need to do.

Yeah I'm not sure about that one. My ticket was a fix-it for my tints and nothing else.

Nope. Just your regular parking meter. I had time remaining, but either way I got the ticket

The rest of us? I assume you mean only those who have no front plate.
