Location in San Fernando Valley

I remember I saw a thread about a park near San Fernando Valley that has a rock formation being used in many movie. I tried to search for it but cannot find it, can anyone help?

You can see it in 1960s Star Trek episodes.

Yes, the park is located east of Topanga Canyon Blvd. just south of the 118 freeway. There are many picturesque rock formations and the area attracts numerous tourists.

Dang on one of my trips into Cali the 15 freeway was closed so I took the 14 down to the 5 and into LA. Went right by there. I think it warrants another trip. Maybe this weekend. This Rugby deal here is just far to close to where I live, I need an escape.
