Hello I'm new to g37 coupe!!!

First of all, I'd like to say hello to all g37 owners.

To start off with great car, I'd like to change my rim and headlights.

I know there are plenty of auto shops in SoCal, but I'd like to know if there's THE best local auto shop in SoCal to visit for modding (especially the rims).

One of my friends told me that he changed both of his rims and tires at Just Tires. Yeah, I've seen his new rims, those rims looked nice to me.

My question is, is this a place to go? Or are there any other shops that I can refer to?

Someone suggested me a website called "tirerack". But, I'm not the type who enjoys ordering stuff via online and wait for these precious babies to come to daddy. I don't like waiting and purchasing stuff through online. I want to see it with my eyes and do it in a place where I can physically be in.

So to recap my questions:

1. Is Just Tires a good place to go for replacing my rims and tires?

2. Any local shop capable of selling & installing angel eyes for G37? (please no online)

I have done 99% of my rim work over about 15 cars with Globe Tire and Motorsports. In Los Angeles - the 10 freeway and La Cienega. Ask for Mike.

They always do deals, and work with many celebs and mucho $$$$$ cars..

Just Tires is only good for tires...period. And don't trust them with camber, or spacers.

As for headlights...no clue locally. AL & Ed's has done custom work...but they won't touch cracking a stock headlamp. And be picky on which location. One has an exclusive with BH Merc, Lambo and Rolls/Bentley.

I got my wheels and tires + mount, balance from eric @ getyourwheels.com, so my vote goes to them. Yes they are an online shop, but located in SOCAL, so that means local pick up! Big selection of wheels. Mention you're on the forum and you may get special pricing. Give him a call.

And yes, Raul G for your headlights. No question. But bulbs and leds, try ijdmtoy.com (located in Rosemead) or jlclightings.com (located in El Monte). They both have physical stores and lots of options.

IMO the wheels from places like Americas tire and just tire suck. Find a vendor and go through them

 

+1 don't order your wheels from some local chain shop, order from a vendor to get the best deal most places have to bring them in anyway so you need to wait. If you want tires locally that is up to you but tire rack gets them here quick and will ship to a local shop for them to install for you.

Honestly, for wheels I would recommend Lou@Amplified. He gives some of the best prices on wheels. If you want tires, send me a PM and I will guide you to the right person for a deal you cant get anywhere else.

I suggest research the wheels you want then find the vendor, unless ur not picky about the wheels.
