Anybody heard of MAACO Collision Repair and auto painting??
So I got a price quote from MAACO, some people said it was ok, so they said $150 to paint the front bumper of my car. Just wondering if anybody has ever heard of MAACO, and if anybody had a good experience with it. If not can anyone else recommend me to another body shop?
I made a thread previously, but all the shops were too far from my house.
Located near Knotts Berry Farm. Anaheim area. thx
btw getting my AIT front bumper painted Moonlight White for my 2011 G37 (Color Code: QAA)

i've heard of them, they always have commericals for specials that they do..
a friend of mine got his car repainted for some presidents day speical they were having by one around here, (philly, pa area) and they did a horrible job, they did absoluetly no prep work before they painted the car...they even painted over the dead bugs on the front of his car. im not saying all MAACO's do work like this particular one, but personally i'd stay away..most of the time its young kids that just got out of auto body school that work there..
so all in all, just be careful who you let touch your car

Maaco is hit or miss but mainly miss, they don't do proper prep and the paint usually starts flaking.
Google around your area and talk to some shops, they usually have pictures of their work done. Talk to dealerships and see who they use for repairs

Maaco = trash. Stay far away my friend. Would you rather drive a little further and be able to appreciate the results? Or get a half-assed Maaco paint job and have to live with looking at a crappy bumper for the life of the car.

I hate the saying "you get what you pay for" but when it comes to paint, it really does apply.

I wouldn't let maaco paint my license plate frame. Find a shop that insurance companies use as a preferred shop, some charge reasonable direct to a customer, they tend to overcharge insurance companies.

Maaco - if you want to paint your 92 Camry for cheap. A new Infiniti...NO. I wouldnt even use shops that insurance companies use since they always cut corners to save money. Just call your local Infi.......I mean Ferrari dealer and see who they use. Hahaha.
