I took my G up to LA, from SD, on two occasions in the past two weeks. Both times I experienced damage to my hood and windshield from various crap kicked up, or something else, on the freeway. Do you all LA drivers experience this all the time?

 

LOL yeah. It's part of life here. Roads suck.

 

^^oh well. I saw the debris coming the first time, so many cars on the freeway so can't swerve. Don't want to brake drastically and risk getting rear ended. The second time, I heard something hit my windshield,...it sounded like multiple things hitting it simultaneously...hen I see sparkles (nicks) on my windshield. Arrgh. Next time I'll take surface streets to LA, LOL.

 

lately it's been pretty windy too. Doesn't help at all.

 

I got rock chips on my lip and bumper. It just got painted in August.

 

 

The sun may rise in the east, at least it settles in a finer location.

 

The meet was the best so far, full house, crazy packed!

But again lots of dumb ****s!

I went to the Corona meet last night, and I gotta say people don't have much respect to other peoples cars. Some were getting way too close and are just careless for what's around them. Mind you its not just my car but others as well. First I noticed some foo standing way too close to my car, I walk up to check it and he's about 2 inches away from my side mirror, constantly moving around. This foo was wearing his jeans on his *** with a metal finish all around the belt, one swoop and he could've scratched my ****. A few minutes later he touches my sticker like he was gonna peel it off my windshield. I then said: "Yo, can you not touch the car?!"
Him: "Oh my bad I was just looking if its inside or out"
Me: "Ok well look with your eyes and not your fingers."
Him: "Damn, I was just looking." Then he explains to his friend what he was doing.
Me: "Ok, look with your eyes. Why you mad?" and I just let it go!

That **** pisses me off! I could've kept going with he could've waited to see who the owner is and ask, not just touching anything he wants because he want's to "look with his fingers" etc.

 

Didnt know they were having meets in Corona.
