Infiniti of van nuys poor service

An update:
Yesterday - after calling the deaership 5 times and speaking to 3 different people, nobody could tell me the status of my car. Never returned any calls - even after they promise to call you back in an hour. Finally, at 6pm I was told (by service manager) that my car will have to wait until tomorrow.
Today - after 2 calls. The technician that started working on my car on Friday is out today. He doesn't know the status. He doesn't know what (if anything has been done at all).
Great!! Thanks for the wonderful service Miller!! No communication with their customers or with each other! Now I just have to wait and see how much more damage they did to my car!

Service Manager is Nicole... Hope you have better service than I did. Had the bubble problem with seat and went in before 60k Matt said service mgr could only make the call to fix under warranty and she was not in that day and to come back, but I was close to
60k he said no problem if I go over. Well that didn't work.. went over by 400miles and they would not fix it. Told me to call Infiniti Consumer Affairs...well I did and told them my story and how they treated me and they made TO do the work. Nicole was a bitch and the service people were upset that they had to do the work. In the end luckly it came out fixed and I didn't have to pay. Good luck

I bought mine at SM Infiniti before they closed. They had an AMAZING service center. After they closed I went to Miller. Tyrone always did me well - but some issues like my creaking sunroof have never been corrected properly. Miller was recently sold so they are under new management and also have been super swamped with all the SM business. My last visit - they had the car for 4 days.
I had an appt. with the new SM Infiniti for the 29th. The old Service Manager from Miller is now at SM - and he is really nice - and told me of the issues with Miller - so I will not be going back. Tyrone may have left as well by now. I missed my appt for the 30k service (I'm at 29k but have a list of little things to do - and I want a new front seat.) as I was stuck on the east coast due to weather.
I've had Riverside do some install of the GT Spec braces and they rock. Hopefully the new SM Infiniti service will be great.
As for the seats - print out some post from here and G35 driver where they have been replaced and show the service rep. I'm asking my front driver seat replaced as it has bubbles in it. If they don't do it - I will print the posts, send to Infiniti - and threaten to start blogging and Facebooking that Infiniti service sucks.
That will get their attention.

Ok so thouand oaks insisted that I wetsanded my trunk..... I'm sick of excuses and idk y every dealer is throwing them at me, I told the guy I have never wet sanded it as I have no need to, anyways they said that it's not under warranty even tho I did 0 and the stupid trunk is painted cheaper than my old 1998 ford f150 He gave me a quote from the body shop across the street, 300! I can get a aftermarket trunk for that money.

Do NOT I repeat DO NOT take your car to MILLER INFINITI on VAN NUYS!!!!!!!!!! I took sedan to them for a simple coolent flush (just because Im hecktick and I do every single thing to my car to make sure everything is perfect lol) anyways... my car was never the same for over a year!!!! they kept telling me ohh its this ohhh its that and no matter what I said to do to take care of the issue, they would do it!!!! my car would sky rocket temperature or drop to zero!!! then it blow out the radiator, then it turned off twice while driving, then it wouldnt go past 3k rpm, then check engine would come up every single frikin time!!!! everyone of these would happen after everytime they clamed it was fixed... my car was considered a lemon after what they did to it (2007 g35s sedan with about 20k miles on it.) prior to this the car ran perfect and had power, plenty of it. They would claim to have fixed one thing and another came up. I have a full and I mean full folder of all the times I went to them. I had about 5 service people changed. Everytime they would try to fix something they broke something else. I am not kidding you!!!! just from changing a belt they managed to scratch every single piece of plastic in the engine compartment and damage the AC condenser. Then ruin the electronic system and them the gauge cluster!!!! I mean wow!!!!!!!! everytime I would talk back these a**holes would bring up ASC certified lol. Honestly its not the service reps that are as much of a**holes. Its the service techs people. They don't know anything they are doing and are a complete bunch of morons!!!! seriusly!!!! When I asked them they didn't even know the viscosity of the gear oils or anything else they were using!!! I mean wow!!! If you had to go there however, I would recomend Mike (I forgot his last name) he is Armenian and he is the one who listened to me and had what ever I wanted changed. After that my car was fixed. Now my sedan has no more problems but I cant tell you all the problems I had!!! I will never take my cars there ever again. My sedan sits fine as of now. And I would never go back there ever again. I drove miles away to riverside for my coupe so I wouldnt have this problem again. I asked for Mike since a lot of people recomended him and so far havent goten things done but atleast they seam to know what their doing. (for the record Im having clutch issues as usual with the 6mt). My honest opinion... drive a little more and don't risk the headaches. Goog luck man

I’ve read this thread with great interest. I’ve purchased my last two Infinitis at Miller (a 2004 G35 Coupe and my current 2008 G37 Coupe) and have always gone there for service. And just to balance out somewhat the negative comments, I can honestly say I have never experienced any of the problems described here.
My cars have always been ready on time with the service performed as requested; they have given me free loaners as needed; and my cars have always been properly washed with no scratches. They gave me a new battery/valve replacement last year and later reprogramed the ECM as per the two TSB’s under warranty. They once replaced a defective valve stem for free even though it was not covered under warranty.
They also have a nice snack table and offer free Wi-Fi. I’m sorry some of you have had problems with Miller, but it has not been my experience.

I've always had a great experience at Riverside with both expertise and courtesy. I go there for all my maintenance work.
I recently went to Cerritos for a simple procedure that should have taken 20mins and ended up taking 2 and 1/2 hours and then they said they could not even do it. So basically I waited 2+ hours for nothing to be done (instead of them telling me over the phone, or when I went in, or as I was waiting...)
The dealer experience is vastly different depending on who you go to and Riverside has proven trustworthy and pleasant in my opinion
