Best place in LA Area to get front plate fix-it signed off?
A cop caught me rolling a stop sign and must've been taken by my dashing good looks as instead of a $500 ticket she just gave me a "no front plate" fix-it ticket.
I could care less about paying the fine and putting the plate on (temporarily) but I'm worried since I have an aftermarket exhaust, intake, and tint that when I go to get sign-off they might get me for that stuff.
SO, anyone who had a fix-it front plate ticket and mods, where did you get signed off at and did they hassle you? LA area only.
Thanks

The cops just come out of the station to make sure you fixed the problem. They won't ask you to turn on your car. I guess the cops figure if the exhaust was a problem, they also would've got you for that. You should be fine.

Tell me about it! The two states I previously had cars (WA and AZ) have laughable laws, you can get tints, aftermarktet stuff, even turbos and you're fine as long as you pass smog.

just remember to at least roll down ur windows just in case.
i had to write off my no front plate ticket twice.
first time before the cop signed it off, he turned around as he was walking in and said, btw rememebr to take off ur tint! and just gave me a verbal warning.
second time when i got there, i just rolled down the windows and opened my sunroof and the cop didnt say anything.
i dont think they will care much about the rest.

Cool, thanks guys, I'm not gonna stress about it, I'll roll down my windows and remove my Ti tips from my exhaust and take it in. Anyone ever try to remove those? Seems pretty easy as they're screwed in place..
