Alignment Place in SoCal

Haha, I also need to find an alignment place. I just went to Brake Masters next to my work and they said they couldn't align me properly because they can't adjust the rear from factory settings (for some reason)? They suggested I go to this other place that does more serious alignment work since they'll have the tools and know-how to get my car more into spec.

Did anyone experience something similar?

The rear is adjustable... the front isn't, as far as camber is concerned.

Try West End or Evasive.

They're both located at Google

West End - Gardena

Evasive - City of Industry

I wouldn't bother going to Darin@West End unless you have coils, are planning to get corner balanced and have camber adjustment all around. The reason is that he is usually booked out 2 weeks in advance and its a one man show. He is however the best at what he does in the area.

Nothing wrong with going to west end for "just" an alignment...

if you have no problem waiting 2 weeks for a regular alignment then go for it.

Okay, well I'll call West End and Evasive next Monday, it seems they're closed today. I called Wheel Warehouse, I don't know how much a wheel alignment should run, but $90 is on the steep end, no?

I'm still a fan of Firestone's lifetime alignment service. It was $150 when I originally bought mine and I've already got my money's worth out of it.

Yes, they use Hunter equipment.

Wow, lifetime alignment for $150 sounds great. I'm guessing they don't offer that anymore?

Firestone should still offer lifetime alignment. I got mine for $130 while they were having some special deal. I think it's well worth it if you think you're going to align your car more than 2-3 times. You can just tell the tech the specs you want.

If you want "spot on" alignment specs, west end is the place to go.

I think they still have it. They still honor mine even though I put in new upper control arms which added caster and camber adjustments.
