Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix/Car Show October 10-11
Looks like my hood is doing a go kart grand prix and car show on the october 10th and 11th. Seeing who's interested in driving all the way to Lancaster to check this out!
LA:G's i know we have our canyon run and bbq on the 11th but what about we show our cars on the 10th and u guys can hang out in my hood since i've been to your hood plenty of times!
Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix
Downtown Lancaster will roar to life October 10 and 11 with the first-ever Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix. Professional go-kart drivers will race at breakneck speeds of up to 100 miles per hour through the streets of downtown. The Grand Prix is being combined with the Celebrate Downtown Lancaster street fair and festival, which will offer a car show, live music, and a variety of food and specialty vendors. Also featured will be special events at Downtown businesses, including the annual Oktoberfest at Lemon Leaf Restaurant. This fantastic weekend of fun and thrills will draw to a close with a Sunday night Loggins and Messina concert at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center. Admission to all events except the concert is free; Loggins and Messina tickets can be purchased at www.lpac.org.
Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix Cruise-in Car Show
The Streets of Lancaster will bring back the old Boulevard cruise! Pre 1970 show entrants will cruise the Blvd and show off their hot rides! The Show will start at Clear Channel Stadium at 3pm on Saturday Oct. 10 for check in and hospitality provided by the Lancaster Jethawks. Cruisers will leave the stadium at 5pm and head for the Blvd escorted by the LA County Sheriff Street Machine! The car show and block party, featuring Lancaster's own Bullfrogg Blues Band will continue until 9pm. For additional information and preregistration contact Gary Avant at All Things Engravable, 44242 10th St. West, Lancaster, Ca., or call Gary at 661-945-5443 (atengrave@yahoo.com).

This is going to be really cool. I wish I could be there but won't. Having my store in Lancaster I have heard great things about this at Chamber of Commerce meetings. Go, the whole city downtown (which is big enough to have agood time) will be shut down with a street fair, food, drinks, etc.
