you know, looking at this Stillen mount (I have one), you could probably go to Home Depot and pick up bolts, etc and make your own mount that uses the tow hook. may not look as good but if you just want something to use for fixit tickets I'm sure you can find the right bolt and mount the dealer license bracket on it.

I have gotten one of these fix-it-tickets before. Got pulled over for speeding, and though I got off with a warning, the Costa Mesa officer gave me a fix-it-ticket for not having front plates. I never thought they would physically inspect the plate for proper installation, at most I thought they would visually inspect for a front plate. So I just got some packing tape, concealed the tape so it wasn't visible, and literally taped on my front plate to my car. I went to CMPD to get my ticket signed off, the officer asked me if I had installed the front plate, I said "yes", and he signed my ticket. No one looked at or touched my car. I paid $10 and DONE. The way I see it, it's like any other monthly payment, like a cell phone. I'm willing to pay $10 to have no front plate.

Owned.... My coworker has the stillen bracket which connects to the tow-hook. Its ugly but it works.
Also, to get the ticket dismissed because they wrote G35 instead of G37 will require you to go to court.. which isn't worth it for a fix-it ticket. Judge will not have sympathy for you anyhow. If you want you can try a trial by declaration.
I appreciate a good body despite the make...

that is why i kept my Temporary ID paper winsheild when it was bought, and naver taken off...i still have the "southbay Inifiniti" license plate on only in the rear bumper. stickers for license plates are still unused.
and my car is a year and half old!
parking enforcement dont even give me a ticket for not having a front license plate thinking it is brandnew off the lot.

I will definitely do the same thing. I just got my license plate today, but i guess it will be sitting in the trunk for a while!! haha

Take it to the closest Police station as to where you will be paying the ticket. Use 2 zip ties on your grille and you wont have to spend 80 some off dollars to get stillens magic bracket. I just got done dealing with my tint "fix it" the lady asked if it was CHP or not who signed it off, depending where you go they could charge you more for CHP vs regular patrol. Go in expecting it should be no more than $25.
