I don't have any friends that are cops.

You can keep the temp ID paper in the windshield but when they see you have a rear plate but no front, they'll know right away.

Does anyone have any links to the retractable plate mount or any magnetic ones? Haha.

I heard on the radio last week that you cannot get fix-it tickets legally if you aren't there at the time of the ticket. You can contest the ticket with a judge and explain that, as well as cite where in the law it says that and they'll dismiss it. Could be wrong, but tis what a guy who was a cop and called in said....

Least you could do is try it and they'll extend your due date while they evaluate your claim...

Failing that, what about drilling some holes on the underside of the bumper, then ghetto-rigging up a plate that would stick up where the lower grille is? whatever you do, avoid drilling the bumper!

You deserve it for going to that movie. You deserve a double fine for admitting it publicly. Loser.

Hahaha, I've got nothing to hide. If I'd feel ashamed of going to that movie, I wouldn't have gone. Not exactly proud, but it was all fun and games with some friends.

Of course, no GFs were brought along.

The day ended with fried chicken and videos games, so I think it might have made up for the ticket.

But anyway, thanks TJ for the advice. I thought about going to the judge but I don't think it's worth the time and trouble. I just took a few minutes looking at the mount and the bumper, I don't think there's a way to engineer it and have it pass. I'll look up the law about what you said. If it comes to drilling or pay 50 bucks. I'll take the fine.

It did come with a front bracket. I have it, but putting that on the bumper would require drilling holes, which is something I'm not willing to do.

It'd be great if someone has a Stillen bracket and can help me out, if not I may look to purchasing one.

Oh, where can I pick up and how's the install? I'd like to have it on by the end of next weekend so I can get it taken care of next weekend. Let me know!
