i got another one a few days ago from Highway Patrol...

my question is..... can LAPD officer sign off the ticket that was issued by highway patrol?

this time i actually didnt get away with temporary license on my windshield....

he said he sees the intention of not putting the license plate on, because i still have my temporary one on windshield, and it has been a year and 3 months since i got my car...

Who's G is that anyway? And do they still have it tinted that dark? And lastly, what's the ticket count?

My dad got this last year for his old car. We were driving to Palm Springs in his Mercedes CLS500 and we got pulled over for tinted windows. Truthfully, the windows were tinted, but not that badly, and you could easily see through them.

My dad did absolutely nothing, and he wasn't stopped again. He now has a new car, and tinted the windows also. Plus he tinted my windows. And so far I have never been stopped.

My experience is that cops in Los Angeles and/or Beverly Hills rarely or never give out tickets for tinted windows... but when you get out of LA, like going to San Diego, or Palm Springs etc, you may get stopped more frequently for this kinda thing.

I never had one but I was told by a cop to take it off. I went to local sheriff to get exhaust ticket signed off. Then he saw my front window with light tint. Told me to take it off or else he wont sign the ticket off. I did paid about 20$ to take it off (grr) then I came back to the same sheriff and didn't sign my ticket off!!! he told me to go to rep. (even though my fix it ticket says fixable)
